Bible Pointers on Marriage

A ten-lesson guide

The Well Shrewsbury

This Bible study guide has been created for the congregation of The Well Shrewsbury. It is designed for anyone thinking about marriage or already in one, single or married, new believer or well-established in faith. The series begins with foundations and builds through to the practical realities of everyday married life.

Each lesson goes deep on one question so that the truth has time to take root. Here is how each lesson is structured:

Who this guide is not for

This series is not designed for someone in an immediate pastoral or personal crisis who needs one-to-one care before engaging with group study. It is not a replacement for pastoral support or professional help. If you are experiencing something that requires urgent support, please speak with your church leaders first.

The approach throughout is accessible and pastoral rather than academically scholarly. Where sincere Christians hold genuinely different views, this is acknowledged honestly, and you are directed to your church leaders for further conversation.

This study draws on teaching from the Discipleship Evangelism Programme (Andrew Wommack and Don W. Krow, delessons.org). Thank you for granting permission to duplicate or reproduce it for discipleship purposes, on the condition that it is distributed free of charge. A special thanks also to all whose feedback and contributions have helped shape this study. All scripture quotations are from the New King James Version (NKJV) unless otherwise indicated.
